Classroom Resources
Here is a list of websites and applications that can be implemented in your classroom immediately or over time. Use them to frame a portion or all of your curriculum - that choice is entirely up to you.
Microsoft Publisher (PC): A program on our district computers - not available on Apple products. It is a good idea to save all files created in Publisher as a PDF. Miscrosoft Word (PC): A program on our district computers, comparable to Pages on the Apple iPad. Microsoft Excel (PC): A program on our district computers; comparable to Numbers on the Apple iPad. Microsoft Power Point (PC): A program on our district computers; comparable to Keynote on the Apple iPad. Weebly: Create a website either with or for students; easy to use system that can include blogs, interactive widgets and more. Edutyping: Use this resource (school has contract) to assess student typing skills. Slide Rocket: Bored with Powerpoint? Try this new take on presentations with this modern and fun presentation tool.
